France has banned the use of Hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of Coronavirus cases. The step has been taken since World Health Organisation (WHO) quoted a study of The Lancet and declared that the drug had no benefit for the COVID-19 patients.
Earlier, American President Donald Trump had revealed that he had been taking the drug himself.
